Welcome to Home Living’s e-commerce platform (“Website”). Home Living is the Furnishing division of Amar Hardware Limited, located along Obote Road, Kisumu. By accessing or using the Website to make a purchase, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your transaction.

1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products listed under the “Shop” category on www.homeliving.co.ke (“Website”).
1.2 By placing an order through the Website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have obtained parental/guardian consent.
1.3 Home Living reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting.
2. Product Information
2.1 We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of products. However, slight variations in color, size, or design may occur due to screen settings or manufacturing processes.
2.2 All prices listed on the Website are in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.
2.3 Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Discounts, offers, and promotions are valid only for the duration specified.
3. Ordering and Payment
3.1 Orders are processed upon full payment via the payment methods provided on the Website (e.g., M-Pesa, credit card, debit card, or bank transfer). M-Pesa being the preferred method at the moment.
3.2 You will receive an email or SMS confirmation of your order upon successful payment. This confirmation serves as your proof of purchase.
3.3 Home Living reserves the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, or issues with payment. Affected customers will be notified promptly, and refunds will be processed as applicable.
4. Delivery and Shipping
4.1 Deliveries are available within Kenya and are subject to applicable delivery fees based on the location.
4.2 Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. While we strive to meet these timelines, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. For instance, force majeure.
4.3 Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Home Living is not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect information.
4.4 Upon delivery, customers must inspect the product for any visible defects or damages and notify the delivery personnel immediately.
5. Returns and Refunds
5.1 Products may be returned within 7 days of delivery if they are defective, damaged, or do not match the description. Returns are subject to the following conditions:

- The product must be in its original condition and packaging.
- Proof of purchase must be provided.
- Refunds for eligible returns will be processed within 14 business days after receipt and inspection of the returned product.
- Custom or special-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases of manufacturing defects.
- Shipping fees for returns will be covered by Home Living only if the product delivered was defective, damaged, or incorrect subjected to the conditions above.
6. Warranty
6.1 Certain products may come with manufacturer warranties. Warranty details, if applicable, will be provided with the product.
6.2 Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase and comply with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

7.1 Personal information collected during the order process will be handled in accordance with Home Living’s Privacy Policy.
7.2 Payment information is processed securely through our third-party payment providers. Home Living does not store credit/debit card information.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Home Living is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Website or purchase of products.
8.2 Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes will be resolved in Kenyan courts.
